THE TERRACE CAFE

Looking for a fun, relaxing and cost free activity near LA?  Head towards the beach and walk the Venice Canals.  Parking can be a little tough but once you've landed you'll be able to enjoy the calm and tranquil sounds of the area.  With most homes having large windows and open doors feel free to indulge in a bit of voyeurism.

While on our tour, we decided to stop in a local restaurant called The Terrance and grab a bite.  It wasn't the worst or the best but did the trick.

Cuisine: A little bit of everything.

Eatz: Built our own pie: 1/2 sausage 1/2 veggies. I love the healthy dose of toppings but the crust tasted store bought

Decor: Dated with a lot of of banquet hall furniture. The worst thing I saw was the butterfly tree.

Staff: Scattered. I don't your glass should be empty more than 5 minutes. Maybe if our server wasn't watching television he might have noticed.

Quick tip:  Before hitting the canals I recommend stopping by one of the Abbott Kinney eateries to grab a meal.  They have much more to offer.
